New Equestrian leagues off to a promising start

THE EXCITING new leagues have got off to a promising start at Knockagh View Equestrian Centre, Greenisland.
With fantastic new fences and their state of the art timing equipment, there was a great turnout for both leagues.
The Thursday Nite Prizemoney League started promptly at 6.30pm with the 70 cms warm up class, followed by timed classes of 80 cms, 90 cms, 1 metre and 1.10m. There is an amazing £500 prize fund, with £2 of each entry added to the fund each week.
It's still not too late for entries, though each horse and rider combination must attend four of the six weeks to be eligible for the final on the seventh week.
The Friday Fun League started at 6.30 pm with the 30 cms class, running through to 70 cms class. Purely for fun, this league gives novice riders the chance to experience the excitement of a competition with fantastic rosettes for all competitors.
Entries are still welcome as each horse and rider combination must attend four of the six weeks to be eligible for the final on the seventh week.
