Carrick’s local newspaper has just got better

Wednesday, 3 February 2010

FROM the 15th February 2010 the Carrickfergus Advertiser will merge with the Guardian in Carrickfergus to bring together the strength of both titles.
This improved newspaper, printed by the award winning printers Interpress, will combine the strong advertising content of the Guardian from throughout County Antrim with the unrivalled local news and sport coverage from the Carrickfergus Advertiser.
For local advertisers, this means your adverts will appear in a local newspaper with a readership in excess of 65,000, the highest readership of any local weekly newspaper in Northern Ireland. We are committed to delivering the highest quality local newspaper, packed with local news, local sport and local features, coupled with County Antrim's most extensive collection of local advertising. From our offices at 6 Market Place, Carrickfergus and 20 Main Street, Larne, our editorial and advertising teams are here to provide a professional and friendly service to our local community, whilst maintaining the long historic tradition of both the Carrickfergus Advertiser and Guardian in our Borough and County.
