Hannah Montana Forever: A Great End for the Hit TV Show

Hannah Montana has been one of the most popular shows in America with millions of viewers tuning in over the years to find out what's going on in the singer's world. Hannah Montana Forever is the fourth and final series of the hit show, which is currently being aired on the Disney Channel.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a normal teenage school kid by day and an internationally-famous pop star by night?
Well, that's exactly the life that Miley Stewart leads in Hannah Montana. Miley, played by real life pop superstar Miley Cyrus, is a normal teenager attending school and dealing with normal teenage issues. However, at night when most kids her age are doing their homework Miley is busy performing in front of thousands of adoring fans as pop star Hannah Montana.
Miley wants to be able to lead a normal life so she keeps the fact that she's really one of the most famous singers on the planet a secret from most of her school, and she's helped a lot by her close friends and family who know about her double life and do their best to protect it.
Foremost in Miley's life is her dad Robby Stewart, played by her real-life country music star dad Billy Ray Cyrus. Robby acts as Miley's manager and producer, and considering his parental role, he is very protective of his daughter.
Since the death of Miley's mother when the pop star was only very young, Robby has had to act as her lone parent and he enjoys a close bond with his daughter.
Whenever there's a boy in Miley's life, Robby always keeps an extra watchful eye on her as he doesn't want his daughter's heart to get broken.
Miley has another close family member in the shape of her older brother Jackson. Jackson is a laid-back type of guy who is often accused of being lazy. Although he fights a lot with his older sister and sometimes gets on her nerves, they are very close and always there for each other. Jackson knows about Miley's secret and helps her to keep it.
Miley's best friend is Lilly Truscott who is another person entrusted with her secret, and who also happens to be a massive Hannah Montana fan. Lilly attends all of Hannah's concerts, even helping her back stage. So she doesn't give Miley's secret away, Lilly attends the concerts in disguise as her alter ego Lola Luftnagle.
Lilly is a sporty type who is as happy skateboarding as she is at a Hannah Montana concert. In fact, whenever something makes Lilly really excited she's fond of doing a cartwheel.
Other important characters in the show include Oliver Oken; another friend of Miley's and Lilly's on/off boyfriend, and Jake Ryan, who enjoys an on/off relationship with Miley herself. Jake is a television star in the show, which helps Miley connect with him as he understands the pressures of fame. However, Jake now has a rival for Miley's heart in the shape of boy band member Jesse who Miley's developed feelings for.
One character who's often on hand to annoy everyone is Rico Suave who runs Rico's Surf Shop, where Jackson works. Rico can be deceptive type who thinks he's a little bit better than everyone else. He and Jackson often argue although occasionally they do get along. Rico has no idea as to Miley's secret and she'd be crazy to tell him as he's terrible at keeping secrets.
Aside from the plot, another part of Hannah Montana's success has been the series' soundtrack. The theme song Best of Both Worlds has been a massive smash hit across the world.
It's not just music that's available on the website; there are also loads of things to download such as wallpapers and Hannah Montana pictures. Furthermore, you'll also find several free interactive games available to play.
Miley and Lilly's Designer Dreams lets you play the role of Hannah's assistant, who has to get her and Lilly ready for a big concert by choosing the right clothes for her.
It's not as easy as it sounds though, as Hannah can be quite choosy when it comes to what she performs in, plus there's also a time limit as the limo's on its way to pick her up so you have to be quick.
Trying your hand at being Hannah's assistant will give you some idea of why she and Lilly sometimes argue as it can be a tough job.
Similarly, the game Beauty and the Beat gives you the chance to give both Hannah and Lilly a make-up and hair makeover.
As well as Hannah Montana games, there are other ones such as Roomy Re-Do where you have to give Hannah's room a serious makeover. Hannah fans can also test their knowledge by taking the Hannah Montana quiz.
Hannah Montana's popularity in the US has been huge, where she's not just had hit songs but also a hit movie. Hannah Montana: The Movie, was a number one box office smash around the world, taking over £100 million and is well worth checking out on DVD.
It isn't just the show, movie and website of Hannah Montana that has been a success. Everything from Hannah Montana clothing to stationary and toys have all been hugely popular in the US and UK.
With hit songs, a great website, and a film, there is a lot to keep you entertained.
Just because the series is coming to an end though, doesn't mean that its star Miley Cyrus will be putting her feet up and taking it easy. Miley has three films lined up for the upcoming year; Wake, Laughing out Loud and Wings will all be released in 2011. If you're a fan of Miley's there's no need to panic as you'll get plenty of chances to see her again!
